Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study from Ohio State University. The study of nearly 5000 people found that those taking statin drugs were twice as likely to develop type 2 diabetes compared to those not taking the drugs. Those taking the drugs for 2 years or more they were three times more likely to develop type 2 diabetes.
