Please turn in your Bibles to John 11

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes

in me will live, even though they die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25

V 3: So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.”

When He heard this, Jesus said, "This sickness will not end in death. No, it's for God's glory so that God's son may be glorified through it."

Thomas: he was dead in his doubts (V 16)

-Have you ever had spiritual doubt?

Mary: she was dead in disappointment (V 17, 20)

-Have you ever thought, “Why bother?”

Martha: she was dead in the delay (V 11, 21, 39KJV)

-Have you ever felt that God missed a window of opportunity?

“But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.” John 11:22

“And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.” Romans 8:11
