I love deadlines because they change the way I work. I'd encourage you to see what happens when you put yourself on a deadline to meet your goals. As I talk through today, here are some key takeaways.
Deadlines light a fire under you.
Pressure isn't all bad.
Dates are important.
You must evaluate the cost associated with meeting your deadline.
Understand that there is no such thing as failure if you don't quit.
Here's my challenge for you today.
Put a date on your goals.
Put together a plan.
Work your tail off to get there.
If you miss, celebrate what you did accomplish, and then make adjustments, set a new deadline, and get back to work.
