Gradually, a child comes to realise there is a serious sight problem with massive implications.
The greatest gift a teacher can give to a child is to bring on that precious love of learning.
Good and bad away from home in a residential school for the blind.
Great to have this opportunity to publicly thank those who made my special education a reality.
Travelling about with significant sight problems means you have to be aware of lots of factors. Those of us who are used to it take it all for granted. Those of us new to it all find the whole thing daunting and possibly embarrassing too.
