Big Ten Snags Record $7.5 Billion TV Rights Deal Across Fox, CBS and NBC

⁃ The deal is the richest ever in college football, reminiscent of an NFL-style agreement that spreads the games across three broadcast networks on Saturdays.

⁃ Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, New Mexico, and Tennessee have all passed state laws that grant college athletes the right to profit off their name, image, and likeness.

⁃ With this in mind we discuss the impact of the states that don’t allow NIL deals for students as all of the states that represent the Big Ten Network have yet to pass this law it.
