The statement "sweeping it under the rug," means that you are avoiding something. 

There is only so much the rug will hide for as you keep sweeping things under there the rug will become lumpy. 

Take time to process what is going on with you so that you are not causing pockets of frustration in your mind, emotions, spirit, finances, and physical being.
