If we had to fill a room with all the people in the world who enjoy discipline, we'd still have an empty room! The good news is that, while God's discipline is a sign of His life in us and His love toward us, it was never intended for our enjoyment. But once we understand its purpose, we'll find that it is easier to trust God's heart throughout the process. After all, His discipline is His tool to chisel away what we don't need in order to reveal the masterpiece that He made us to be.
