As a coach, I believe that everything is possible with…progression.

I”m sure your goalie can look at a lacrosse ball.

I’m sure they can hold a lacrosse ball.

They probably can throw a lacrosse ball.

And they can probably catch a lacrosse ball.

But at some point…and it doesn’t matter if they are a middle school goalie or a pro goalie…they will develop a fear of the ball.

It may be temporary.  It may last a little while.  Or…

It may force them out of the game.

Today we’re going to talk about fear and the lacrosse goalie and what you can do to avoid tremendous disappointment.
