The Bellarine has a long, exhausting history with gorse. It is a large problem for many residents along the Bellarine Peninsula and it can be costly to remove despite residents being legally obliged to control it through implementation of the Catchment and Land Protection Act. Brydie Murrihy- Communications, Community Engagement and Extension Officer at the Victorian Gorse Taskforce joined the program to talk about the issue and the potential implications in relation to bushfires.
