For example, I was struggling with some moves in a dance class last night and amongst my thoughts of failure, embarrassment, unworthiness of being in the class etc etc etc, I could feel myself close to tears, heart was racing, stomach felt ill, and so on. It becomes a physical overwhelm. It is so hard to try to change those first thoughts when your body has already taken those first thoughts and run with them.
