I am loving in a maze
Endless nights
And endless days of
Recycled Blues.
Sunrises keep coming
though I don’t want
to face the day
so I just sit with my
guitar strumming
sad songs of how
you went away….
And every Sunset
brings me morning
M. O. U. R. N. I. N. G……
endless cold nights
with no warming
cause you’re not
lying next to me.
The seasons cycles
all just pedaling by
Like empty bicycles
meant for two
and my heart and
soul lie vacant
Left abandoned
when I lost you.
Autumn brought the fall
Back when we lost it all
Winter left me frozen
in my blues
Spring brought me lovely tulips
but they never compared
to the Summer kisses
we both knew.
