In this episode of Dear Christian Women, Kasey Dille shares her powerful testimony of going from prescription drug addiction and a life of darkness to freedom, purpose, and a life completely transformed by Jesus Christ.
Kasey entered Adult & Teen Challenge in Jacksonville, Florida, not knowing that God would use this program to completely change the course of her life.
In one of the most unexpected moments, while making candles and soap, God met her right where she was and turned that space into what would become her war room a place where she encountered Him, surrendered her life, and experienced His transforming power. Jesus stepped into her brokenness, freed her from addiction, and brought her from darkness into new life.
Today, Kasey serves as the Director of the Jacksonville, Florida Womenβs Center at Adult & Teen Challenge, the very ministry God used to save and restore her life. Now, she pours into women walking through the same struggles she once faced, pointing them toward the hope, healing, and freedom she found in Christ.
Kaseyβs story is a beautiful reminder that God can take our darkest seasons, redeem our stories, and use our testimonies to bring hope to others. What once held her captive has become part of the testimony she now uses to help others find freedom.
God didnβt just bring Kasey out. He gave her a purpose to go back and help lead others out, too.

MORE ABOUT ADULT & TEEN CHALLENGE JACKSONVILLE WOMEN CENTER
https://jacksonvillewomensrehab.com
https://www.facebook.com/TeenChallengeSoutheastJaxWomen
Adult & Teen Challenge Jacksonville Womenβs Center is a year long, Christ centered residential recovery program helping women break free from addiction and life controlling issues and discover new life and purpose in Jesus Christ.
Through biblical teaching, individual and group counseling, discipleship, mentorship, life-skills training, parenting classes, relapse prevention, anger management, vocational training, recreation, accountability, and spiritual growth, women are equipped to rebuild their lives and walk in lasting freedom.
This is more than a short-term program itβs a journey of recovery, renewal, restoration, and transition, giving women the time and support needed to heal, grow, and prepare for a new future.
A place where God transforms lives, restores hope, and turns brokenness into a testimony.
In this powerful episode of Dear Christian Women, we sit down with Kristy, whose journey is a beautiful testimony of how God can take a life marked by addiction, rejection, and feeling unseen and transform it into a life filled with purpose, freedom, and ministry.
Growing up, Kristy often felt unseen, unimportant, and like she didnβt truly matter. Those deep feelings of insecurity and searching for belonging eventually contributed to her falling into addiction. Her addiction took her places she never imagined, but God was never finished with her story.
Kristy eventually entered Adult & Teen Challenge in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her first experience was not the end of the story. When she returned to Teen Challenge for the second time, something happened that changed everything Kristy met her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Her encounter with Jesus transformed not only her recovery, but her entire life. What once felt like a life without purpose became a life surrendered to God.
For 16 years, Kristy has been clean, free from addiction, and passionately loving and serving Jesus. Even more incredibly, about 15 years ago, while she was at Teen Challenge, God gave Kristy a vision that she would one day be serving in ministry. Today, she is living out that very vision.
Kristy now serves in ministry through The Covering, a faith based residential program dedicated to helping women and families experience genuine transformation through Jesus Christ.
Kristy now gets to pour into others from a place of personal experience helping women who may feel the same way she once did: unseen, forgotten, and unimportant.
Her story has come full circle. The woman who once struggled to believe she mattered is now helping other women discover that they matter to God, they have a purpose, and freedom through Jesus is possible.

MORE ABOUT THE COVERING:
https://www.instagram.com/thecovering686
https://www.thecovering686.org/
The Covering is a 12-month faith-based residential program, with optional transitional housing where participants can have their children live with them. The program is designed around a family setting and is rooted in the biblical truth of Psalm 68:6: βGod sets the lonely in families.β
The Covering exists for women who are seeking true change, healing, freedom, and a new way of life. Rather than simply addressing addiction, the ministry seeks to create an environment where women can experience community, discipleship, restoration, and the love of Christ.
In this powerful episode of Dear Christian Women, we sit down with Tabitha Kourtney to hear her story of growing up on a naval base, falling into addiction, and ultimately discovering freedom through Jesus Christ.
Tabitha shares honestly about the experiences that shaped her growing up, how she found herself falling into addiction, and the difficult road that followed. Her journey eventually led her to Adult & Teen Challenge in Bakersfield, California, where everything began to change.
It was during her time at Teen Challenge that Tabitha encountered Jesus in a life changing way. What began as a journey toward freedom from addiction became something much deeper, a transformation of her heart, her identity, and her purpose.
Today, Tabitha is free from addiction, walking faithfully with Jesus, and actively serving in ministry. She is continuing to grow in her calling by leading and facilitating Bible studies, discipleship groups, and women's ministries. She currently facilitates Rooted, a 10-week discipleship program at South Valley designed to connect people with God, the church, and their purpose.
She also serves through Care and Crafts, a women's group that visits a women's shelter in Hanford each month to provide meals, desserts, crafts, encouragement, and the Word of God to women and children. Through Essence, she continues to grow in sisterhood, prayer, community, and discipleship.
Tabitha has also been leading a Wednesday Bible study through the book of John while faithfully attending another small group, and she recently began Koinonia School of Ministry, an 18-month program focused on understanding her spiritual gifts and growing deeper in her relationship with Jesus.
Serving in ministry is one of the greatest privileges God gives His people but it is also one of the greatest places where discouragement, exhaustion, and spiritual fatigue can creep in. In this SHORT SERIES of Dear Christian Women, we journey through GODS WORD to discover God's heart for those He has called to serve His Church and reach a broken world.
If you've ever questioned whether your labor is making a difference, felt overlooked, battled burnout, or wondered if it's time to step away, this episode is for you. God has not called us to grow weary, but to remain faithful, steadfast, and rooted in Christ.
The very places where Jesus brought healing, freedom, and restoration into our own lives often become the places He calls us to minister to others. Our testimony becomes someone else's hope, and our past pain becomes a platform for God's glory.
Together we'll be reminded that ministry is not about striving in our own strength but abiding in Christ, walking worthy of the calling we've received, and allowing the Holy Spirit to sustain us as we serve. Through the truths found in Ephesians, we'll be encouraged to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, stay the course, and continue building His Kingdom with love, humility, and endurance.
Whether you serve in your local church, lead a Bible study, disciple others, volunteer behind the scenes, or simply desire to be faithful wherever God has placed you, this episode will encourage you to press on and remember that your labor in the Lord is never in vain.
Where is God calling you to faithfully serve today, even if no one else seems to notice?
Has burnout, discouragement, or disappointment caused you to lose sight of the mission God has entrusted to you?
How might God be inviting you to minister to others from the very places where He has brought healing and transformation in your own life?

As believers, we are all called to be MINISTRY MINDED WITH A MISSION. God has invited each of us to serve, encourage, disciple, and carry His message of hope into our communities.

In this episode of Dear Christian Women, we discuss the importance of putting on the full armor of God and remaining spiritually alert.
When we lower our guard, neglect God's Word, or compromise our biblical standards, we become more vulnerable to temptation, discouragement, and the enemy's attacks. Together, we'll explore how daily time with Christ, prayer, and obedience strengthen our faith and help us stand firm in every season.
God has equipped us with everything we need to walk in victory but we must choose to wear our armor each day.
Are there areas of your life where you've slowly let your spiritual guard down?
What daily habits help you stay rooted in God's Word and prepared for spiritual battles?
How can you intentionally strengthen your spiritual armor and encourage others to do the same?

Loving others isn't always easy. In fact, some days it feels impossible. Whether we've been hurt, disappointed, misunderstood, or betrayed, our natural response is often to protect ourselves. But Jesus calls us to something far greater to love as He loved us.
In this episode of we explore what it truly means to love like Christ. Loving others requires surrendering our pride, denying our flesh, extending grace when it's undeserved, and depending on the strength of Christ instead of our own. We simply cannot love the way Jesus loves apart from Him.
Together we'll unpack the beautiful truth of 1 Corinthians 13, where Scripture reminds us that love is patient, kind, humble, selfless, and enduring. This isn't just a description of love it's a picture of Christ Himself and the kind of love the Holy Spirit produces in us as we walk with Him.
Join us as we discover how Jesus empowers us to love difficult people, forgive freely, and reflect His heart in a world that desperately needs His love.
Is there someone God is calling you to love that you've been struggling to love?
In what areas is Christ asking you to deny your flesh so His love can shine through you?
How can you intentionally reflect the love described in 1 Corinthians 13 this week?
