In this episode of #DearCollegeStudents, I will be talking with Travon McCullough who also goes by the name, Trigga Tray. Travon is a percussionist and the creator of the #drumcypher. He also is a recent graduate of Florida Atlantic University Information Technology and Management master’s program. Travon was involved in many organizations on campus and is a member of Progressive Black Men, Alpha Kappa Psi and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.

In this episode of #DearCollegeStudents, I will be talking with Jessie Houston Jr. Jessie is a recent graduate of Florida Atlantic University and earned his degree in Business Administration and currently works in Human Resources. Jessie is the podcast host of “SpeakUp Podcast.” He also is the CEO and founder of, “SpeakUp Network.” Jessie will not only talk about how he started his podcast but also the mountains that he had to climb for his podcast to become successful.

In this episode of #DearCollegeStudents, I will be talking with Gerald Jean-Baptiste. Gerald is a senior attending Florida Atlantic University and majoring in Sociology with a minor in Studio art. Gerald is a self-taught graphic designer. Some of the things that Gerald does is brand logos, apparel designs, cartoon avis, logo revamps, cover art and a lot more. Gerald was also the one that designed my cover art. Gerald will not only talk about how he started to get into graphic design but also what constantly motivates him to keep going.

In this episode of #DearCollegeStudents, I will be chatting with Shemar Bazile. Shemar is a junior attending Florida Atlantic University and majoring in Sociology. He is tremendously involved on campus. Some of the organizations that Shemar is involved in is the Black Student Union, National Council of Negro Women, FAU Esports team and Prestige Modeling Troupe. In his down time he plays video games and has recently started his own live stream gaming channel called, “Ugly Gaming.” Shemar will not only talk about how he became so involved on campus but also what inspired him to start his own gaming channel and some of the obstacles that he had to overcome in order to make it successful.

In this episode of #DearCollegeStudents, I will be chatting with Aric Popun, a 23 year old graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a minor in cognitive science. He talks not only about how he likes to do film photography, likes to travel, and enjoys learning and expanding his knowledge about different cultures. He also talks about the obstacles that he faced which were dropping out of college and having to enroll back in college, all while having to deal with the pressure and shame of his family life back home. Despite all of this, Aric has truly realized that, ‘In Every Dark Cloud There’s A Silver Lining.’

This episode talks about the mentality that we need to have every single day in order to become successful and dominate our goals. 

In this episode I talk about what it means to be famous versus being effective. Often at times we focus so much on being famous that we forget that all the materialistic things come and go but what is most important is how we can make an impact on someone's life and help them achieve success and reach their full potential.
