Dear Nearness of Eternity,
Take a slow breath. Eternity is not something far away or reserved for the end of life. It is closer than we think, brushing against ordinary moments, often quietly, often unnoticed. Scripture tells us that God has placed eternity in the human heart, not so we would fully understand it, but so we would sense it.
That longing you feel, the restlessness, the sense that there has to be more than this, is not confusion. It is recognition. It is the soul remembering that it was made for more than survival, more than routine, more than passing moments.
When eternity feels near, we begin to live differently. We love more intentionally. We forgive more freely. We stop postponing what matters. Not because we are afraid of tomorrow, but because we are awake today.
May we learn to live attentive, gentle, and present, honoring each moment as sacred until He comes.
