A nowhere kids creation

I’ve got friends getting married, and I know kids having kids. My relationships with my good friends seem to always evolve and change, and that’s cool, but so has my relationship with the season of summer. It was once group wanderlust, boardwalk beaches, longshore dreams. I don’t know if that’s gone for good or just something different now as more and more people settle down for the long haul. But I wanted to commemorate it in this song. To all of my friends walking down the aisle this summer and this fall, congrats and I’ll be watching from the crowd.
