Before attempting to adapt Cowboy Bebop to the screen, Netflix tried Death Note to a frighteningly similar effect. This week we watch Adam Wingard's Death Note, starring Naked Brothers Band alum Nat Wolff as Netflix's take on Light Yagami (or Turner) one of the coldest and most calculating anti-heroes of the 21st century. As two fans of the source material, Dan and Jess sort of wished Death Notes were real by the end so they could write their own names in one.
