Ending our death series on a lighter note (can you have a lighter note in a Death series?) is the story of Conall Cearnach, the second greatest hero of Ulster.

Always the runner-up to his younger cousin, Cúchulainn, Conall was spectacular in his own way. Crooked necked and touched with an otherworldly beauty, he was vicious in battle and boasted that he never went to bed without the severed head of a Connaughtman under his knee.

But what happens to a hero who is unbeatable? Who is so fierce and so terrifying that he wins all his battles? What happens when he grows old, and slow, and sick?

If that hero is Conall Cearnach, he finds a way to get the death he always wanted.
