Since 2015, European diesel automobile sales have dropped significantly, in big part due to Diesel Gate. And just last month, the biggest diesel engine factory announced their plans to transition production from diesel to EV powertrains starting from this year. So is this a sign of diesel's imminent death in the automobile?
