Debbie and Mary Ann answered a few questions pertaining to raspberries. Raspberries are certainly fun to grow and fun to eat. Raspberry cane borer (small beetle-like insect) is not particularly common in our area, but is easily treated by trimming and cutting. No chemical spraying is necessary. Are you concerned about when you can start trimming your raspberries? Now is the time. Look for the dried up berries and dead canes before you start snipping.
