On September 11, 2022 an investigation began when the body of Debbie Collier was found burned in Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest south of Clayton, Georgia. This Forest was a 90-minute drive from her home in Athens, Georgia. The day before her death she was caught on surveillance footage at a Family Dollar buying a few supplies, and then proceeded to make an odd Venmo payment to her daughter Amanda, which was attached with a CREEPY message.
