Debbie Kaore is one of Papua New Guinea’s elite athletes having represented the nation in rugby and boxing.  Last week she survived a brutal domestic assault at the hands of her partner Lieutenant Murray Oa. Photos and video of the attack have been posted on Facebook and Debbie wants to ensure that no other woman would have to experience what she did.  The incident has sparked a nationwide outcry for social justice.
