Debbie Reichenberg was a citizen of Boynton Beach, Florida in 2020. She had grown up in Brooklyn, New York in an apartment with her parents and her older brother. She met her husband Paul when he moved into her apartment building in Brooklyn. Debbie and Paul had two kids. Debbie worked as a middle school teacher for the better part of her life. Debbie recounts the time before the pandemic when she slowly became more aware of the harsh reality that laid ahead. Debbie notes how a global pandemic affected her and her family's social life, her religious practices, and her anxieties.
