A full-time Alaska resident for over 34 years, Deborah has been the Executive Director of five organizations, a practicing attorney, and a Presidential Appointee. For most of her life, Deborah has been involved in David and Goliath battles—on David’s side—and has worked to protect Alaska’s magnificent environment, lung health, utility consumers, and youth. Deborah’s favorite saying is “The only difference between a stumbling block and a stepping stone is the way you use it.” She’s been fortunate throughout her life to love and work with family, friends, and colleagues who share the same philosophy with passion, skill, commitment, and humor.
