Throughout the ages, hope has been a powerful thing. Around the time of the birth of Jesus, many jewish groups had grown weary of hoping for the restoration of Israel and decided to make it happen by their own means - performance, power & control, or compromise. Other individuals still had hope in God in the fulfillment of his promises. Their hope was fulfilled and propelled in the birth of Jesus. Our hope, rooted in the past, present and future, is also in Jesus and His kingdom!
