December 5 - 1000mm Deluge Drowns Southern Thailand

According to the Thai Meteorological Department’s Automatic Weather Station (AWS), over 500 millilitres of rain fell over a 7-day period starting on December 1st and lasting through the 7th in 2016. It would be recognized as the worst flood in over 30 years in the southern part of the country.
