We turn to Isaiah 9:1-6 today to look at anticipation. Isaiah anticipated the coming Messiah, but had to wait 700 years. Then we look at Luke 2 to see four people who also anticipated the coming of the Messiah, and saw their awaiting come to fruition. Today we anticipate the birthday celebration of that first Advent, and we await the Messiah coming for the Second Coming.
