Overview: Well we all have decisions to make don-t we- Ever have those decisions to make you just have to wonder WWJD- Is this the right decision for me at this time in my life- If you have a family then it becomes is this the right decision for my family- I know someone who once told me that two people on the same day shared with him a link for a job application that they both of these individuals thought would be a great fit for him. He was not looking for a job and neither of these two individuals knew that the other one had sent him this same link. He said I felt I had to at least look into this a little more. A few short weeks later, the opportunity had landed for him to take this position in a growing church. That is when it hit him, is this right for me- Is this what I am supposed to be doing- Was this truly an opportunity sent from God- Could it be a distraction to take me away from where God has me now- These are all very good questions and sometimes we can begin to think well it-s a good thing, so it must be right. It is a big bonus for me, so it must be right. Yet do we ask ourselves the real hard questions that this man began asking- Do we listen to God speak to us through the Holy Spirit often quietly at first. Though sometimes saying no, this is not where I want you. While we on the other hand are screaming out from the inside for others to take our side and tell us it is the right thing- Don-t let it pass you by. That is we are looking for conformation that this is right for us. But the problem is far too often we look to friends and family rather than too God.
