Do you know why the Declaration was written? Do you know what principles of government it teaches or what it states about human nature? Do you know in what capacities it mentions God? Have you thought about what it might mean today … if it says anything about today? And about how we ought to run our government, and who we ought to elect, and what laws we ought to denounce or support?
