Today’s prayer is based on Psalm 26

The theme to this Psalm:

Declaring loyalty to God.

The author of this psalm was a guy named David.

David speaks about living a blameless and obedient life.

By declaring his life blameless,

David was not saying that he lived a perfect life.

David was saying that false charges and lies were being made against him.

David reminds God that he was a faithful servant

and asks to be cleared of this blame.

Throughout the bible we can see examples of people crying out to God to be saved.
