In the Big Story segment of Press Decode, Splainers take stock of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. They speak about Russia launching missiles and artillery attacks on areas near Kyiv, south of Ukraine and the second-largest city in Ukraine, Kharkiv. This invasion resulted in more than 2 million people having fled to neighbouring countries.

Moving to Food for Thought segment, we take a look at the great garbage cleanup project in the Pacific Ocean. Ocean Cleanup system was launched in September 2018, it was considered the first ocean garbage cleanup project. They also share the opinions of scientists, commoners had on this project and money invested in it.
