"he Unfathomable"

Some things are understandable to all. They're easy to fathom, easy to grasp, and everyone "gets" them.

Some things are not understandable to all. They're not easy to fathom or grasp or "get." It takes a refined mind and a sharp intellect to make sense of them.

And then there is is that which is simply unfathomable. It cannot be understood -- not because of the limitations of the mind, but because it does not exist in the realm of intellect. No matter how smart of clever one might be, this will always remain beyond understanding, because it is not to be understood.

The Kabbalists tell us that G-d is of this third kind. G-d is the ultimate Unfathomable One. It's not that we don't understand G-d because we're not wise enough. It's because G-d is not an intellectual formula to be understood.

In this session of Kabbalah & Coffee we explore the knowable and the unfathomable, and get ever closer to the Truth of G-d.
