Decolonizing Your Mind and Your Conscious Business with Dr. Jessica Moy

Listen Later

This year has brought on a major shift in society’s understanding of social justice, privilege, inclusion, diversity, and healing - which is exactly why I invited BIPOC empowerment and mindset coach Dr. Jessica Moy to this week’s episode of The Conscious Leadership Podcast. Jessica’s zone of genius is in empowering women of color and our conversation inspired a plethora of questions that we all can begin asking ourselves, as entrepreneurs and light leaders who aim to create ethically aligned businesses.

In this week’s episode, Jess and I discussed how to balance a fair energy exchange between creating abundance and recognizing the value in our work, while still serving our clients from a space of integrity, authenticity, and empowerment. We also got into the importance of examining our impact within larger systems of oppression, and how exactly to start unpacking the privileges and biases that unconsciously show up in our businesses. Also, we dive into the many ways we can incorporate antiracist practices into the fabric of our companies.

From this conversation, you’ll take away tools to deconstruct any programming and limiting subconscious beliefs that you may have. The #1 thing I learned from Jess: by building a strong foundation of self-compassion and inner work, conscious leaders can contribute to a new inclusive, diverse, and ethical system for everyone.
