In this initial discussion with my friend, he discusses his background in Anarco-Punk movement and the Leftist politics of the early 80s. This provided a sense of identity, belonging and was a search for meaning. This was followed by the difficult terrain of Chuch culture which seemed to reflect the very establishment he had come from and took years to process. The Leftism of the early 80s for example has now become the establishment and is morphing into Totalitarianism...from the margins to mainstream to Big Brother. The underlying fundamental issues however were something all of us resonate with which is the search for meaning, identity and belonging. This is the first discussion under this Title which we develop in subsequenst podcasts.
