On June 14th, 2015, friends of Dee Blanchard and her disabled daughter Gypsy notified police of disturbing posts made to Dee Dee Blanchard’s Facebook. Police secured a warrant and entered the house. In her bed, they found the decomposing body of Dee Dee Blanchard. She had been stabbed to death and it appeared to have happened several days earlier. However, even though Gypsy’s wheelchair and other medical supplies were still in the home, Gypsy was missing.
