Anneke Lucas is a survivor of organized ritual abuse in a pedophile network, to which she was exposed from the age of 6 to 11. She is from Belgium, lives in the USA and works as a speaker and advocate for survivors of ritual abuse. She created her own model of working with power called the Unconditional model.
She has been sharing her testimony for years, patiently, with calmness and maturity, explaining how our own untreated psychological wounds blind us and make us vulnerable to ideologies, polarization, hatred. Despite the fact that she has experienced the most terrible experiences, she remains optimistic and is able to look at people who commit violence through mature compassion.
Anneke's voice is an important testimony about the times we live in and the parts of society that need acute intervention in order to protect children and humanity.
To me, Anneke is proof that even though many of us have very difficult initial conditions or beginnings, it doesn't have to define us.
From our interview you will learn:
- more about her life path,
- in what way did she heal from her traumatic experiences,
- what role did spirituality play in her journey,
- what would she advise members of organized groups or pedophile networks who want to leave but are afraid,
- what motivates her to continue advocating for survivors of ritual abuse,
- what effect, if any, had publishing the names of the perpetrators from the ranks of politicians and celebrities,
- what we can do with feelings of helplessness, facing the big problems of our time and more.
