Description
Many people with chronic pain have been told to "life with the pain," or even worse, many times the experience of chronic pain is often dismissed by friends, family, and even medical providers.
Fortunately, modern research into chronic pain gives us hope through neuroplasticity- which is defined by: the ability for the nervous system to change based on experience. In other words, the brain and body needs a reason to change, heal, and recover.
Using breathwork creates this "experience" by reconnecting with the body, creating a sensation of safety, and over time can help many people overcome persistent physical and perhaps emotional pain.
Research Links:
Stress, Depression, and Neuroplasticity: A Convergence of Mechanisms
allows you to quickly find a meditation based on either time duration or type of breathing.
-For example, searching "5 minute meditation" or "15 minute meditation"
