This is the first episode of our Expedition For Lorn Campaign In the Blackbirds Rpg written by Ryan Verniere . Blackbirds is a Darker, Fantasy setting where everything is deadly from magic, to hidden daggers. Wolves to Eldritch beings known as outsiders. It’s a story of a world locked in a state of war and no one knows who's on their side or where their next meal is coming from. Every day could be life or death but it's also full of a certain charm and hope. 

The group has set off on an expedition to find and gain access to the hidden city of Lorn. After a month at sea they find themselves trekking across open fields and forests on a miserably hot island.
