We experience everything as Chaos or Cosmos - meaningless change, or divine ordering. When we see through the eyes of a child, we see everything is Play. Everything is a divine game of pretend and everything is a part of this play. That’s what is so serious about it. Ha. Everything has a chance and must play a part. You know? But it can all look like Chaos. Chaos is like “chasm”, a distance to cross. The distance here is the difficulty of beginnings. The I-ching name for this archetype is Difficulty at the Beginning. It says plainly where the action of this archetype is. Everything looks like chaos at first. But with a little time, patterns emerge. The motion behind a change…then this moment…and where this moment is leading. This order starts to feel more natural as we adjust. This archetype of Ordering, Innovation is part of the sacral authority within us; that gut feeling that lights us up with a “yes”, and not so much when “no”. We are pulled towards what we intuitively feel we have the energy for. We are likewise repelled from what our gut tells us we do not have the energy for.

We are fundamentally challenged by change to navigate confusion and establish order. This is a good time for letting go of extra stuff that wastes your energy. Hang on to your faith in life, sincere communication, loved ones, your helpers, and what lights you up. Detach from the results by being authentic.
