An excess of laws is the greatest injustice, just as impunity is the greatest incentive to crime. In 2025, constitutions, legal frameworks, codes of law and procedural codes amount to tens or even hundreds of thousands of pages of State rules. They are so numerous and incomprehensible that they are totally unusable for citizens; they are the greatest injustice. "No one is supposed to be ignorant of the law" has become "no one is allowed to understand the law".
In addition, the procedural secrecy under which the justice system operates allows it to act in total concealment, in fact in total impunity, in an omertà that befits the mafia but in no way a public service that belongs to the sole sovereign, the People, that is paid for by the People and that is supposed to serve the People. Once citizens’ third-party oversight is imposed by the constitution over all judicial procedures and over all financial flows of all actors, as described in the book "2024" by Pascal T. Borel, we will give judges back their profession; we will give justice back to the People. Once citizens’ third-party oversight becomes the norm, we will prevent financial interests from taking control of justice and thereby stealing power from the People. Once citizens’ third-party oversight is operational, all actors in justice will be held accountable in their respective roles: lawyers, investigators, police officers, judges will no longer be able to lie to protect the financial interests of those who pay them best. They will once again become the guardians of the rules that bind all citizens together within the nation. Had citizens’ third-party oversight been the norm in the field of justice, its takeover by financial and political interests would have been impossible.
