There are two kinds of journalists: honest journalists, who are unemployed, and the others. The others are mercenaries paid by four or five large international groups or, worse, directly by State subsidies and therefore indirectly by citizens. If the media were independent, do you really believe they would all be telling us the same story? Do you think they would all have the same narrative? Do you think they would all be using the same vocabulary, the same expressions, as so many videos available on YouTube have amused themselves in demonstrating? Whoever pays calls the shots. The handful of companies that control 90% of the media impose an editorial line that protects whatever is most profitable to them.

Once third-party oversight over the financial flows and financial statements of the large international groups that own the media is imposed by the constitution, they will no longer be able to conceal the influence they have granted themselves over States or the advantages they derive from it in their other business sectors. Once the principle of citizens’ third-party oversight is applied to the media, to their owners and to all their providers, they will resume their role in the service of citizens. They will once again become an integral part of the education sector at the adult stage of human life. Once third-party oversight over all financial flows is imposed on the media by the constitution, as described in the book "2024" by Pascal T. Borel, we will immediately know who benefits from the narrative imposed on us. Once citizens’ third-party oversight over financial flows becomes the norm in the field of the press, all its actors will resume their responsibilities, free from editorial constraints. Journalists will once again be in charge of the content of information, free from political and financial constraints. Had citizens’ third-party oversight been the norm in the social field that determines our understanding of the world—the press—it could have played its role and we would have avoided many wars, we would have saved millions of lives, and, to cite just one example, the use of COVID to turn us into slaves subject to State rules would have been impossible.
