Phillip starts the show by telling you about Orson Welles radio show The War of the Worlds, then he explains who the main 4 characters are that you need to know about from these films; Orson Welles, Herman J. Mankiewicz, William Randolph Hearst, and Marion Davies. He then dives into talking quickly about the new movie Mank from 2020, and his review of it. After that he dives into Citizen Kane from 1941 with a small review. (What can be said that hasn't been said already.) Then he talks about the after math; Pauline Kael's 1971 essay called Raising Kane in The New Yorker, Orson Welles 1971 letter to the New Yorker, Peter Bogdanovich's Esquire essay from 1972 called The Kane Mutiny, and tons of other facts and fun bits.
