Busy ≠ Productive! Nowadays, we are constantly busy with meetings, phone calls and answering emails while probably checking Instagram or TikTok every few minutes. This is certainly busy but also very shallow work as Cal Newport puts it in his book "Deep Work".

As the title suggests, he advocates for a new work-mentality, where "professional activities [are] performed in a state of distraction-free concentration that push your cognitive capabilities to their limit". A skill that apparently becomes increasingly important in our economy.
