Liminal.traces: a duo - two friends - mixing music with passion since 2018. It all started with our tradition to mix a set just for fun and the mood before going out to dance to electronic music through the night in Cologne and Düsseldorf. We immediately felt attracted to the sound of the underground.

In the early 2020s we made experiences on open air events as part of a collective in cologne and started to mix music not only for ourselves, but also for an audience of both dancers and music enthusiasts.

During that time we developed a focus on sound, which is moving liminal between deep, dub, detroit and minimal. While moving between these styles, we are appreciating both house music and techno and rely great importance on good and quality sound and its traces to the underground.

Our own traces lay between CGN and DUS so naturally we feel connected to both cities and the region nearby like Wuppertal and the infamous Ruhrpott.
