Deesha was social secretary for the Obama White House. This unbelievable woman worked her way up from intern all while finishing community college. Now, she’s Founder and CEO of social impact consulting company, Hook and Fasten.

On the show, Deesha told me about her life now and her time working in the White House. We talked about some of the legendary events she planned, feelings of imposter syndrome, and what privilege means to her.
