She shares what influenced her mind, challenges she had to overcome, lessons for others who want to change their life but are afraid of what lies on the other side and so much more! This week, we had the opportunity to speak with Chris Ackie, a pro athlete and linebacker with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Chris gives us a raw insight of what life is like in the CFL, how he developed a passion for the game at a young age, how he separates himself from other players, and why he is driven to pass those lessons forward to younger players. This was a really fun conversation, Chris is really easy going and speaks candidly on topics such as his popularity off the field, fans blowing up on Twitter, players boozing and smoking weed during the season and what life may look like beyond the game.

This week we had the opportunity to speak with Narmeen Hasan, an activist and advocate for Social Justice & Mental Health Issues. Narmeen is a board member for the Dandelion Initiative which empowers survivors of sexual assaults and sexual violence through grassroots initiatives. She opens up about her struggles with drug addiction, dropping out of University, dealing with sexual abuse trauma, facing chronic depression and more. Narmeen also shares the lessons she's learned along the way for anyone who might be faced with similar challenges in their lives!
