When you think of a helicopter pilot, a 30-year young female is probably not what comes to mind right away. Well, Atlanta native and Los Angeles transplant Diane Dollar wants to change that!
After serving in the US Coast Guard, Diane held a number of jobs as a mechanic working on private yachts to cargo ships. However, after years of contemplating flight school - which seemed like a far off dream - she finally turned that dream into a reality.
Diane completed her training, became a flight instructor, and moved to Long Beach, CA. Eight years later, she now spends her days flying life-saving organ transplant teams around Southern California and using Tik Tok (@foreveronthefly) & Instagram to inspire young women to pursue a career in the fascinating field of aviation.
