After the loss of his wife to triple-negative breast cancer in 2016, Eric left his career as a hospitality operations executive to be closer to his young son. Knowing he did not have the tools to shepherd both him and his son through their trauma, Eric decided to get to work on bettering himself and developing their relationship so that his son never felt alone.
In 2021, Eric's journey of healing took him on a 3,422-mile cross-country bike ride to raise awareness and fundraise for Camp Kesem, a nationwide community that supports children through and beyond their parent's cancer.
