With 29 years of experience with the California and International jail and prison systems, Ernst Fenelon Jr. address criminal justice system injustices and inequalities leading to victories in the Federal 9th Circuit Court (Fenelon v. Riddle, et al) and United States Supreme Court (Holt v. Hobbs, et al).
Ernst's focus on prison education, social reintegration, and individual self-empowerment uses the unique "inside and outside" perspective of the Prison Education Project and Reintegration Academy organizations as well as his personal lived experience taught through his personal class based on his book. (Don't worry, we will get to that next Monday!)
Ernst is an International Author & Public Speaker, Transformational Life Coach, Senior Program Coordinator/Instructor for The Prison Education Project (PEP) programs in California, Uganda, London & Scotland. He also is a Representative for the Reintegration Academy, Moderator for the YWCA "Talking the Talk" series, Facilitator for the DTLA Clergy “Trust Talks” addressing police brutality and misconduct in DTLA, and most recently the Creator and co-choreographer of the theatrical dance performance and documentary “Angee’s Journey”.
