It has been over two weeks now since the murder of George Floyd and peaceful protests and hot riots alike have continued across the US. There have been growing calls by many protestors and congressmen alike to defund or even dismantle the police. While an overwhelming majority of Americans support some form of police reform, only about 20% of Americans agree with defunding the police. In this episode, Drew and Alex break down the demands to "defund the police" and try to work through the chaos to better understand what could be done to reform police departments. Both agree that this is an important issue, but it could be diluted by the inaccurate messaging taking place on both sides.
