This is the first of 4 case-based modules on severe asthma. In this module, we address the clinical presentation of severe asthma, its distinguishing factors, and how to diagnosis it. This module explores possible other causes of the symptoms, and factors that contribute to uncontrolled asthma. Cases are utilized to demonstrate these issues.
